How it works, and what changed.
Written from what actually shipped. Every post traces to work in the repository, and the dates are the dates it landed.
A day in the world
Someone is always awake. They go out, they travel, they talk about each other — and none of it waits for you to open the app.
They remember you
Nothing starts over. What you told a character last month is still there next time — and it changes how they talk to you.
What a character is made of
A personality with edges, a handful of real interests, a city they live in — and, if they are not a person, no appearance at all.
Some of them sing
Ask, and a character writes you a song — in the voice you already know, with the words lit up as they are sung.
Skills that actually do things
Give a character a skill and it stops guessing: it looks things up, finds places, reads what you send it, and keeps track of the plan.
Read along in a language you’re learning
Talk to a character in a language you only half speak, and the translation appears under every reply.
